Mission Scripture

Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.

Alma 26:12

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Ohio Cincinnati Mission was dissolved and I have been reassinged to the West Virginia Charleston Mission. I am currently serving in Salem, Virginia. I am enjoying sharing the gospel. It is wonderful to watch people's lives change as they accept the gospel. I have learned that the Lord always listens to us and answers our prayers. I have enjoyed helping people. The service that I have given has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my mission.

"Team" I Am

well i've been thinking about it quite a bit the past day or two and noticed how "team" i am, not really liking to do things alone. One thing that has helped me the most on my mission is knowing that meryl is doing the exact same thing. i'm sure i'll talk about that more when i get home.
last night we had a really good lesson with bonny, we talked about studying the scriptures everyday. most people think reading from the scriputes has to be a really big process and they feel overwhelmed and aren't able to do it. we committed her to read one or two verses everyday and to build from there. you can only feast on the scriptures one bite at a time.
we're in the same district with ashland and portsmouth.
i think i come home like the 21st ish of feb.
the past week or so i've kinda not really struggling but adjusting faster. with the change i felt like it changed then everything was fine, i think maybe the change is more of a gradual process than anything.
i love you
